“Mitsuoka Jidousya Kogyo” was founded individually by Susumu Mitsuoka.

1970

11/1979

“Mitsuoka Motor Co., Ltd.” was established.

3/1970

“Car Shop Mitsuoka Jidousya” was founded by the founder Susumu Mitsuoka.

1980

2/1989

Launched the “BUBU 356 Speedstar”.

7/1987

Bubu Yokohama relocated.

7/1987

Mitsuoka Motors America, Inc., which was the first step to Overseas Business, was established. (Started importing and selling American cars)

2/1982

Launched the “BUBU series” with a 50cc engine, which served as the starting point for the present Mitsuoka Motor.

12/1981

Vehicle Developing Department was established in Toyama (Entered into developing original cars)

7/1981

Established a Tokyo branch office in Edogawa Ward, Tokyo.

1990

7/1998

Launched the "Micro Car series" (Micro Car: One-passenger car) and "K-2" (Kit car).

2/1998

Launched the "Ryoga" (Modified car based on Nissan Primera (P11)).

1997

Zero1 Classic Type-F Wins the Good Design Award.

3/1997

Toyama Chrysler Co., Ltd. was established. (Started Chrysler franchise business).

11/1996

Launched the "Ray" (Modified car based on Autozam Carol).

Launched the "Zero-1 Classic Type-F".

2/1996

Launched the "Galue" (Modified car based on Nissan Crew).

6/1994

Launched the "Mitsuoka Zero-1", which was our first ever model, to be called as Mitsuoka's Original Brand (except the Engine). Through Zero-1, we obtained the great attention from the Japanese media and was pronounced as the 10th Authorized Manufacturing Company of Japan.

6/1993

Launched the "Viewt" (Modified car based on Nissan March (K11)), which recorded annual sales of more than 1,000 vehicles. We started a nationwide system of special sales agent.

10/1991

Fahren Toyama Co., Ltd. was established. (Started Audi & Volkswagen franchise business).

7/1991

Launched "Dore".

5/1990

Launched the "Le-Seyde" (Modified car based on Nissan Silvia (S13)).

2000

Bubu Yokohama relocated.

12/2008

Launched the "Himiko" (Modified/Stretched car based on Mazda Roadster).

2/2006

Launched the "Orochi".
At the 35th Tokyo Motor Show, we started the exhibition of our product with "OROCHI CONCEPT" as the 10th Authorized Manufacturing Company of Japan. Through this Exhibition, we entered the Automobile Industry of the World as a Manufacturer of unique models.

Launched the "Nouera" (Modified car based on Honda Accord).

Funeral coach division established(Entered funeral hearse).
